About Elie Deli

After 40 years of hotel management Kay and I took over Elie Deli in April 2009.

It has always been our wish to offer our patrons a shopping experience which we would expect from a village shop and to look after our customers so that their first visit is never their last!

Why not send us an e-mail with what you would like to have as a welcome pack, which we will be happy to put into your fridge for when you arrive, or have ready for collection from the Deli.

We bake freshly each morning our famous all butter croissants and pain au chocolate along with breads of all shapes and sizes! In the height of the summer it's always wise to pre-order for the morning, so as not to be disappointed when you enjoy a slightly later start to your day and find that the basket is bare!

Our Deli fresh orange juice is available in litre and 250ml size bottles, the sweetest juice to start the day.

Over and above the usual Deli products which you would expect to find, Kay has sourced some unusual gifts which she hopes might tempt you to come in and browse around.

Opening times are:
Monday to Saturday 08.00 to 18.00
Sunday 08.00 to 17.00

From October untill the end of March we close on Sunday evenings at 16.00.

During the months of July and August we stay open on Friday and Saturday evenings until 20.00.

Our Deli sandwich range is as wide as you can imagine, because if it's in the Deli then it can become your sandwich! The most recent deli special is made up of the following; Norwegian Jarlsberg cheese, Festive roast ham, sun blushed tomato, our precious mayo, and English mustard to taste. Feeling hungry? We make up freshly from the available ingredients to order, for you to take onto the beach or just to take away for your journey. Selections of hot breakfast rolls are available every day too. We also have 5 stools in the window where you are welcome to rest and partake of a cup of hot coffee tea or a cool refreshing drink when the weather is at it's best!

We are licensed to retail alcohol and have a wide range of wines, spirits and beers together with a similar amount of non alcoholic beverages to choose from. Looking for something a little special, just ask, it may not be on display!

Thinking of taking someone a gift? Why not choose Deli products from our shelves and let us put them together in a hamper fit for any occasion! You decide how much to spend and we do the rest, simple!

Weather permitting, dressed crab and fresh lobster will be available to order in season, check the price; it's less per kilo than you might think!

Elie Deli has served our community and holiday makers for many years and we look forward to continuing the tradition of the Deli for many more years to come.
